Habitat Donation

The Hopkins County HBA recently donated $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity (President David Ramsey made the presentation to Habitat Director Heath Duncan). The HCHBA is proud to support this worthwhile organization that makes dreams of homeownership become a reality for many local families that otherwise could not afford a home.  The continued support of our Association's members makes these kinds of donations possible.

Home Expo 2011 was a huge success!!  Over a thousand people attended the 20th annual Home Expo on April 15 & 16 at the Hopkins County Fairgrounds. Exhibitors from not only Kentucky were on hand but also from Ohio, Tennessee, & Illinois displaying various products and services (please check out our photo gallery).  Congratulations to the following winners: $250 Cash Prizes: Kevin Miller & Reba Basco; $100 Cash Prizes: David Hamilton & Michelle Burnside; Wheelbarrow Full of Tools: Rae Ballard; $300 Shopping Spree: Ronnie Dossett; Patio Set: Bill Devine. Best Booth award went to the Thomas Kinkade Gallery.
